Job Summary

We seek an experienced business development professional with a track record of success navigating multi-step sales process and selling service products. We are looking for a driven sales person with a proven expertise in closing deals with multiple decision makers. The territory this role will cover is the entire Houston Division, including the surrounding cities. We now have 4 local offices in the Houston market.

 

You do not need prior experience in our industry, but knowledge of property management, financial services, Homeowners Associations, or real estate is considered a plus. We require seven years of experience in business development and business management. The role will be part of the division leadership team but will not have direct reports.

 

Are you comfortable working independently and proactively? We believe in developing trust and empowering our colleagues. We are looking for “A” players with a high level of professionalism and accountability.

 

Are you comfortable attending weekly evening meetings? Sales meetings for this role typically occur in the evening because we work with volunteers. We will adjust your work schedule to compensate and allow for work-life balance.

 

Role Description and expected impact:

Descriptive words for this role are: sales, hunting, relationship building, presentations, follow up, pro-active, leadership, professional, positive attitude. Your responsibilities are to:

  • Identify and pursue the best accounts in the Houston market
  • Develop relationships with potential future customers
  • Plan and executive local mailing campaigns
  • Follow up on leads provided by marketing
  • Conduct research and contact board members
  • Attend evening meetings with potential board members to provide sales presentations
  • Network in our industry to develop lead sources

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Over 8 years of experience in business development and management
  • Sustained success and long-term employee relationships
  • Has closed over 10 sales deals with company customers

Benefits and Salary

Salary is $60,000 plus uncapped commission and bonus plan.

  • Full-time employees receive 5 weeks of paid vacation per year.
