Job Description 

Based in one of our divisional offices, the Compliance Coordinator, will be responsible for driving to the communities we manage on a regular basis, and making notations of non-compliant homeowners. Working as a Compliance Coordinator is an excellent way to learn about our industry. What will the Expectations of this Role be?

  • Drive to various neighborhoods in a company vehicle for approximately two-thirds of each day.
  • Note: At times, due to scheduling issues, your own vehicle may be required to complete your drives.
  • Improve quality service by recommending improved processes, and identifying new product and service application. Work with homeowners regarding various issues involving compliance, improvement requests and resolution of those issues and requests 
  • Communicate clearly, professionally and accurately Respond to customer inquiries in the following ways:
  • Understand the inquiry
  • Review previous inquiries and responses
  • Research information
  • Assemble and forward information
  • Verify customer understanding of information
  • Administrative responsibilities (high volume)
  • Computer proficiency  
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities 
  • Answer phones, email and occasional person-to-person contact
  • Maintains customer relationship by responding to inquiries (for example, documenting actions, resolving customers concerns)
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the SPECTRUM culture
  • Maintain a calming demeanor during customer interaction and peak times
  • Complete the Compliance Inspector Weekly checklist to ensure all duties have been completed
  • Read and understand governing documents of each homeowners association


What Skills Do We Require of our Compliance Coordinator? 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills:

  • A good driving record.
  • Note: You must have a valid drivers’ license, auto insurance, and at times, a reliable vehicle. Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Customer service experience with an emphasis on conflict resolution   
  • Ability to analyze information
  • Ability to pay close attention to details 
  • Must be computer literate. and familiar with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel 
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written requests
  • Ability to multi-task, and learn in a fast paced environment
  • Customer-service minded with the ability to work as a part of a team
  • Additional skills (Data Entry, Organizational, Detail-oriented, Problem-solving)

Hourly pay - $13.00 per hour.

Schedule - Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
