REQUIREMENTS

We do not require experience in our industry. A successful candidate may have experience in retail, restaurant, administrative, or related roles. We highly value initiative and the ability to work independently; if you work best under supervision, this role may not be right for you.

  • Customer service experience, with an emphasis on conflict resolution
  • Experience managing processes
  • Proficient in English, bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to analyze information, identify specific problems, and develop appropriate solutions
  • General consulting skills, including diplomacy
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail


Job requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for processing homeowner applications to make changes to their property and assisting the homeowners in completing the appropriate paperwork for submittal and approval. 


Are you comfortable helping frustrated customers? In this role, you will need to de-escalate and educate homeowners on processes require for them to gain approval.  We offer training on how to effectively deal with these situations.


Are you comfortable occasionally working overtime? This position involves seasonal rush times that require additional effort. This position can be very fast-paced and must be performed accurately.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with homeowners by responding to their inquiries, regarding improvements to their properties, documenting actions, and resolving their concerns
  • Process and review improvement requests from homeowners and provide documents to the appropriate review committee
  • Develop positive working relationships with members of the Association’s Architectural Control Committee
  • Work as a team with other departments at Spectrum
  • Learn how to interpret new construction home plans, and continuously develop job skills using our learning platforms

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is an Hourly position and the pay is $15.00 per hour

  • We offer PTO to allow for rest, travel, family, and your hobbies
  • We offer 40 paid hours per year for community service activities
  • Benefits, including a medical, dental, vision plan, and a 401K program
  • In-office medical clinic
  • Hours – Monday to Friday 8:00 to 5:00 PM
