Community Manager

We have an amazing training program and support system, that will provide you with the tools to be successful in this role. In fact, many candidates joining our company have experienced previous success in areas such as retail, restaurants, and administrative or task/project management roles; they are able to work independently with some supervision and direction. 

We are primarily a customer service and communication company that just happens to be in the property management industry. Handling difficult customer situations is an essential trait, as we deal with a high number of conflict resolution scenarios. This role is for professionals who seek a challenge that will stretch and develop them. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and develop your skills in may areas and have multiple opportunities to collaborate with talented leaders and mentors.  


What will the Expectations of this Role be?

  • Plan, prepare, research and manage projects for a portfolio of associations:
    • Association projects
    • Association accounting regarding financial statements
    • Association insurance coverage
    • Association fiscal management
    • Required litigation needs
    • Vendor relations
    • All special projects
  • Coordinate, attend and facilitate successful association board and annual meetings
  • Communicate, and foster team building with all association members
  • Educate all board members on legislation changes that impact their HOA
  • Comply with procedures (company, and quality system)
  • Handle communicating with clients via meetings, calls, and emails
  • Completion and mastery of new skills via our internal education program
  • Some evening meetings are required in our industry.
  • Lead effective meetings
  • Association payments and receipts
  • Vendor bidding
  • The annual meeting/election process
  • Various financial (for example, financial statement oversight, bid process and bid spec proposals) and budget-related responsibilities
  • Author or provide correspondence, budget information, newsletters, and election information
  • Completion of daily, weekly and monthly Community Manager Checklist
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

  • Thoroughly inspect association property each month and create proactive action plans
  • Basic knowledge of MS Applications, especially Word and Excel

Starting Salary -  Salary depends on experience, typically in the range of $40,000 to $44,000 annually, higher if HOA Community Management Experience previously.
